ESSER III Overview

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act was signed into law in March of 2021, allocating $122 billion in funding for the ARP Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER or ESSER III) Fund. The funds provided to LEAs are intended to help schools safely open and remain in operation and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the nation's students.

Damon ISD will use its ARP ESSER III funds to address the impact that COVID-19 has had, and is currently having, on our student population.

Damon ISD's Return to In Person Instruction and Continuity of Services (RIPICS) Plan will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessitated by current public health concerns and CDC guidance.
